MUSIC & WORSHIP TEAM OVERVIEWS

Celebration Choir:
9:15 Blended Worship is led by the Celebration Choir. This team is open to all adults. No audition is required and music reading ability is not mandatory. Rehearsals are Wednesday night 7:00 - 8:00 p.m.

Celebration Orchestra: 9:15 Blended Worship is led by this instrumental team. It is open to intrumentalists who desire to use their talents to honor and glorify God. Auditions are not required to participate on this team. Troy Burke is the director of the Celebration Orchestra. Rehearsals are Wednesday nights 7:00 - 8:00 p.m.

Praise Team: (9:15 a.m. Blended Worship): This team leads worship during the 9:15 a.m. service. Auditions are needed to serve on this team. Rehearsals are combined with the choir rehearsal Wednesdays 7:00 - 8:00 p.m.

Praise Team (10:50 a.m. Contemporary): This team leads worship in the 10:50 service. Auditions are required to serve on this team. Rehearsals are Wednesdays 8:00 - 9:00 p.m. A 2nd rehearsal is required on Sunday morniings at 8:00 a.m.

Handbell Choir: Handbell Choir presents special music in the services as well as in the community. Handbell Choir is led by Pastor John Burke. Rehearsals are Wednesday 5:45 - 6:45 p.m.

Children's Choir: Children's choirs have been created to involve every age group of children from 3 years old - 5th grade. These choirs present special music in the worship services as well as a yearly musical. Heather Conatser coordinates the Children's Choir Ministries. Rehearsals are Wednesday 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

Good News Choir: Our Senior Adult choir meets on Sunday afternoon 4:45 - 5:45 p.m.. The Good News Choir presents music all over the Lubbock area as well as the state. They also present music in the worship services here at Southcrest. Bro. James Kinman directs this choir.
